Eight ways to bring the valley home

From the valleys of Kashmir

A valley that has been trading beauty for six hundred years

Kashmir grows things no laboratory can imitate. Crocus fields that bloom for seventeen days. Walnut trees older than the houses beneath them. Bees that work meadows at nine thousand feet.

Living Kashmir exists to shorten the distance between those fields and your kitchen. We buy at the farm gate, pay above market rate, and ship the harvest ourselves — no middlemen, no blending, no adulteration.

Everything is traceable to a village and a family. When you open a jar, you are opening somebody's season of work.

From our customers

“The saffron is a different species entirely. One thread colours a whole pot, and the aroma fills the kitchen.”

Marianne Kessler — Copenhagen, Denmark

“The walnuts arrived still smelling of the orchard. My mother said they tasted like the ones from her childhood in Baramulla.”

Adil Rehman — Toronto, Canada

“I bought the cushion covers as a wedding gift. The embroidery is so fine you keep finding new details in it.”
